Follow in the footsteps of the great Irish Celtic saints as you are transported to another time and place, the largest island in Strangford Lough, Mahee island, site of a 7th Century monastic settlement. A spiritual, tranquil place. Travel on to the Cistercian Abbey at Greyabbey on the eastern shore of Strangford Lough in the Ards Peninsula where you can visit the beautifully restored herb garden and the abbey.

You may wish to combine this tour with a visit to the nearby world famous gardens at magnificent Mount Stewart, ancestral home of the Londonderrys.
