NEW TOUR!

In the Saint Patrick Centre, home to the only permanent exhibition in the world telling the story of Irelands’ Patron saint you will be given an introduction to Patrick’s life through a short film. Then we visit the grave of Saint Patrick on nearby Cathedral Hill and have a tour of magnificent Down Cathedral. We travel to Saint Patrick’s Wells and Bathhouses located a short distance from Downpatrick. They are best preserved holy wells in Ireland. From there we travel to Saul Church, Saint Patrick’s first church in Ireland. We travel to see nearby Slieve Patrick, home to the tallest statue of Saint Patrick in the world. Our tour ends with lunch in the Cuan Hotel in Strangford. Transfer back to Downpatrick.

Minimum group size: 12- max 25   Duration 3.5 hours approx.  The price per person depends on the number in the group.

Inclusions: Lunch in the award-winning Cuan hotel; entry fee for Down Cathedral; fee for Saint Patrick Centre; coach travel and services of a specialist, professional guide.
